I did the 4 day trek through Hoang Su Phi with Nam Ly. The organisation from this company was absolutely unreal and the owner was constantly available via whatsapp for any questions. I was picked up in Hanoi and taken out to the beautiful highlands of Hoang Su Phi. I had a local tour guide whos name was Cuong who was amazing and I paid a bit extra for an English speaking guide whos name was Dan (who was also amazing) which was absolutely worth it. I got to visit many local’s homes and eat lunch and dinner with them and fully immerse myself in their way of living. At the end of day 4 we arrived at a Hot Spring Onsen which was perfect for recovery after 4 days of trekking. They even provided me a private transfer to HaGiang city at the end of my trek which was extremely helpful and meant i didn’t need to mess around with buses. I do recommend going in high season to see the bright green landscape but the entire experience made up for it and I also didnt have to worry about extreme heat and there wasnt a single tourist around besides myself.
